This blog is meant to be about anything I want to write on, but you may find that most posts deal largely with one or more of the following topics:

  1. Personal diaries, often mixed with amateur philosophy

  2. Libertarianism

  3. Books and Movies

  4. Links and pointers to random stuff on the web(mostly on my tumblr now.)

  5. Fiction, very rarely.

My name is Nikhil George Punnoose, and I’m a Field Engineer at Schlumberger, an oil service company. This means I go to places where they are drilling for petroleum and put in my tools and tell our clients (since I am based in India this is primarily ONGC) whether they have found anything or not.*
My blogger code is:
B9 d- t- k s+ u– f- i- o x e l c-.
Click through to find out what that means.
*In a manner of speaking. In another manner of speaking, I am specifically prohibited from doing that. I give them logs of the area they have drilled from which they can infer whether they have anything, how much, what type, etc.

  1. Interesting place you here Nikhil! Hopped over with the comment you left on Psyriac’s shared item. Maybe am liking this whole ‘shoudn’t have to make it so complicated new google reader’ after all! 🙂

  2. After research a number of of the blog posts on your web site now, and I truly like your means of blogging. I bookmarked it to my bookmark website listing and can be checking back soon. Pls check out my web page as effectively and let me know what you think.

  3. Great blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused .. Any tips? Thanks!
